Tuesday-July 4- Day 14....An uneventful day: From Watson Lake to Whitehorse

We woke up to a steady rain which continued all day until about 4 PM. We drove from Watson Lake to Whitehorse, in not so pleasant conditions.  But it was a relaxing day.

When we got to Teslin we crossed this Nisutlin Bay Bridge and took a break from driving and to have lunch. .

We visited this Yukon Wildlife Gallery (and Gift Shop), which we assumed was paintings of wild animals. But we were pleasantly surprised to see mounted wild animals.

Many beautiful flowers decorated the outside,
and inside Christian music was playing!

We passed many lakes and crossed lots of bridges.

Now tonight we are sleeping at this  very famous, however bland, camping spot in Whitehorse. Many other campers are here as well.

This one is sitting right beside us.  Evidently there is no inspection required in the Yukon! 😊😁
This evening after supper of salad and lasagna we played a game of Rook! It is now 9:30 PM and I need to finish here and shut off the generator so our close "neighbors" can sleep....and so can we!  Good Night!

  1. Wow, a Walmart and all those campers way up there, haha!! I guess you don't have the north to yourselves after all! Just kidding! Good old Rook! Haven't played that in so long, but was just saying recently that we need to teach Austin how to play it. He's a great strategizer. Hope you can drive without rain today.
